Product Care, Warranty & Returns Policy

Catapult uses a variety of different materials in the construction of our products. Timber, stone, steel, aluminium, copper, bronze, plastic and glass are some of the most commonly used. Please refer to the Product Care download to the right for detailed information on the care for your products.

End of Life:
Our commitment to minimising the environmental impact of our products continues with our "End of Life Guarantee". If you decide to retire your Catapult products, we will happily take them back and ensure as much of the item is recycled or reused as is possible. 


Online purchases:
We do not provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind after receiving an item, however, you can choose a refund or exchange if the item:

  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it 
  • is unsafe 
  • is significantly different from the sample or description 
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. Please note that you are required to raise this complaint within 2 weeks of receiving the item. We will not entertain any return, repair or refund request after 2 weeks of delivery.

If it is not repaired in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement. The amount paid will be refunded to your account through which you’d originally made the payment (PayPal, credit card or bank account) in 5-7 business days. Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt. Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

Delivery:

If delivery is included and a site access has not been conducted, it is assumed it is for level access to a loading dock or similar in the metropolitan area unless otherwise stated. On quotation, please advise if lifts and/or loading docks are used for access. Delivery is between normal business hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Delivery outside these times will require quoting and additional costs. LOADING DOCK - if height has not been provided, the client is liable for all additional costs of installation caused by restrictions in height/access. If installation is included, our team will unwrap, clean and place items where required. 

Lead times are as stated, any variation on the stated lead times will be advised as soon as possible by Catapult Design. 

For trade and retail orders; a cancellation fee of between 50% and 70% will apply to all orders upon commencement of manufacture. 

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:

Warranty:

For detailed warranty information, download the Product Warranty document to the right. Catapult offers a 2 year warranty on all furniture and lighting. Accessories do not have a warranty.  

Please ensure you refer to the Product Care information as failure to adhere to the guidelines may impact your warranty.
